Angelo Aceves

This is Angelo’s first year as a High Voltage member and he is honored and thrilled to be part of such an amazing and talented group!  Angelo joined EDMT in 2014 and has been in sixteen musical productions. He has also been a member of EDMT’s Tap Company for the past three years and one of the highlights of his life was performing with the company in New York’s New Amsterdam Theater last summer.  Some of Angelo’s favorite rolls have been Grandpa Joe/Willy Wonka, Grimsby/Disney’s The Little Mermaid and Pepe/West Side Story.

Angelo’s training includes years of tap, jazz, ballet, acting and voice lessons.  He works extremely hard to improve every day.  When not performing, Angelo enjoys spending time at church, hanging with his friends, being with his family and also playing video games.  This year Angelo will be a senior at Jesuit High School.  In his future, Angelo plans to attend college and pursue his dream of living in New York City and performing on Broadway.

Brayden Bambino

Brayden is a third year member of High Voltage. He has been with EDMT since he was eight years old, and has been in 17 EDMT productions. Brayden is so excited to continue to grow as a performer with this incredible group. Some of his favorite roles include Mr. Wormwood/Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical, Horton/Seussical the Musical, Action/West Side Story and Daddy Warbucks/Annie.

Brayden’s training includes 11 years of vocal lessons, six years of jazz, and five years of tap. He also loves rehearsing and performing with his church band. He always likes to think ahead and wants to attend Columbia University in New York with a double major in Musical Theater and Law. He has found so many amazing friends at EDMT and wants to continue his growth and get to know new people in High Voltage. He likes to work hard in everything he does, especially in school, and always works towards A’s in every class. When Brayden isn’t dancing, acting or singing his heart out on stage (or anywhere else), you can find him hanging out with his friends, playing with his dog Jet, or jamming out to a bunch of different Broadway show tunes.

Carson Beards

This is Carson’s third year as a High Voltage member, and he is so happy to be a part of this amazing group. He has been with EDMT for 11 years. Some past roles include Mad Hatter/Disney’s Alice In Wonderland JR, Gee-Tar/West Side Story and Nana and Cecco/Peter Pan.

When he is not on stage, he is dancing non-stop, working at school, or hanging out with friends. Carson’s training includes about four years of tap and acting, two years of ballet, and three years of vocal instruction.

Nathan Hansen

This is Nathan’s very first year as a member of EDMT’s tour group, High Voltage! He is so excited to begin! He has performed in 15 shows with EDMT and hopes to do many more. Some of his favorite roles include John Darling/Peter Pan, Wickersham/Seussical The Musical, Drake/Annie, Chill/Spy Quest, and James/Willy Wonka.

Nathan has participated in EDMT’s Tap Company for two years, going on to his third! He has done one year of jazz, one year of ballet, about 4 years of tap, many vocal lessons, and four years of acting classes. In his free time, Nathan enjoys hanging out with friends, watching movies, and singing. Nathan’s dream is to become a Broadway actor in NYC!

Mackenzie Haar

This is Mackenzie’s first year in High Voltage and she is beyond grateful to get the opportunity to perform with such talented people! She is going into her eighth year as part of EDMT and has been in 18 productions. Some of her favorite past roles include Winifred/Disney’s The Jungle Book Kids, Bath Wash Woman/Disney’s Mulan Jr., Lead Indian/Peter Pan, Leticia/West Side Story, and Bird Girl/Seussical The Musical.

Mackenzie has been training in jazz, vocal, tap, and acting for the past seven years. She is also going into her third year as a member of EDMT’s Tap Company, SpecTAPular and performed in NYC with EDMT Tap Company last year. When not on stage Mackenzie enjoys playing with her two crazy dogs and bunny, reading her favorite books, watching cooking shows, baking, and hanging out with her friends and family. She also loves Disney, Christmas, the rain, and ice cream with her whole heart. Mackenzie’s goal through each day is to bring joy to everyone she meets and to be a light in the world.

Emily Hobbs

Emily is thrilled to be a fourth year member of High Voltage.  She is grateful for the opportunity to share the stage with such amazing performers.  This is her tenth season with EDMT and has performed in 25 shows.  Favorite roles include Mayzie LaBird/Seussical The Musical, Peter Pan/Peter Pan, Kim MacAfee/Bye Bye Birdie, Violet Beauregarde/Willy Wonka, Young Fiona/Shrek The Musical, White Rabbit/Disney’s Alice in Wonderland JR, and Gracie Shinn/The Music Man.  She was awarded the Gypsy Robe for Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical.

Emily was honored to be chosen as the Assistant Choreographer for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast in 2017, The Frog Princess in 2018, Goldie Rocks! And the 3 Bears in 2019, Annie in 2019, and Choreographer for The Greatest Race in 2020.  This is her second season as EDMT’s Tap Company Assistant.  Emily assisted two of Anjie Wilson’s jazz classes last season, and taught vocals for EDMT summer camps in June and July, 2020.  She is excited for the opportunity to teach her own musical theater and jazz classes at EDMT this season, as well as being the High Voltage Dance Captain. 

Emily’s dance training has consisted of ten years of jazz, six years of hip hop, eight years of tap, four years of ballet, and two years of contemporary.  She competed in hip hop and jazz for three years with Fusion Dance Company, and was a member of EDMT’s Tap Company for three years.  She has also taken several master classes at Broadway Sacramento and Disney Performing Arts, as well as eight years of vocal and acting lessons, and four years of piano.  Emily played soccer for seven years, took six years of gymnastic classes, and has a black belt in Taekwondo.

Away from EDMT, she enjoys studying biology and animals, painting, and spending time with her friends and family.  Emily also enjoys traveling, and has been to more than 20 countries, with dreams of going to Australia and Africa.  Emily sees performing and helping animals in her future.

Adam Kosciuk

This is Adam’s first year as a High Voltage member and he is so excited. This year he will be going into the seventh grade at Charter University Prep. He has been performing with EDMT for over two years, and has done six productions. Some of his favorite roles include Michael Darling/Peter Pan, JoJo/Seussical the Musical, and Nigel/Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical.

Over the past two years Adam has been trained in Acting, Vocals, Jazz, and Tap. He is also a member of EDMT’s Tap Company, SpecTAPular. Adam loves everything musical theatre, especially Broadway. He dreams of becoming a Broadway star and majoring in musical theatre at NYU. When Adam is not performing, he loves to cook gluten free food, especially desserts.

Madeline L’Engle

This is Madeline’s second year as a member of High Voltage, and she is honored to perform alongside this group of talented people. Madeline has been performing with EDMT for nine seasons, and has been in 21 EDMT productions. Some of her favorite roles include Mrs. Wormwood/Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical, Bird Girl/Seussical the Musical, Miss Hannigan/Annie, Anybodys/West Side Story, Arista/Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Ursula Merkle/Bye Bye Birdie, Jeel/SpyQuest: An Agent 006-½ Musical Comedy, and Violet Beauregarde/Willy Wonka.

Madeline’s training includes nine years of jazz, eight years of tap, seven years of acting, and six years of vocal instruction. She was a member of EDMT’s Tap Company for three years. She has taken multiple masterclasses with Sacramento Theater Company as well as workshops in tap, auditioning, and musical theater with Disney Performing Arts.  Aside from performing, Madeline’s passions include reading, traveling, academics, and spending time with her family and friends.

Hailey Miller

This is Hailey’s first year as a member of High Voltage. She is thrilled to be performing with such a talented group of people! Hailey has been performing with EDMT for eight years and has been in 16 productions. Some of her favorite past shows/roles include Mrs.Bucket/Willy Wonka, Daisy/Alice in Wonderland, Bird Girl/Seussical The Musical, and as a Shark/West Side Story.

Over the past eight years, Hailey has trained in jazz, ballet, tap, acting, and voice. She has also participated in many different workshops while attending the High School Theatre Festival, Lenaea. When not performing, Hailey enjoys rainy days, spending time with her friends, dancing whenever she can, playing the ukulele, and hanging out with her dog, Benny. She hopes to one day live and work in New York, whether that means performing on stage or working behind the scenes!

Katelyn Minnie

This is Katelyn’s first year in High Voltage and she could not be more excited to be performing with such a talented group! She has performed with EDMT for 9 years and has been in 24 productions. Some of her favorite roles include Marty/Grease, Allana/Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Cecile/West Side Story, and Margie/Bye Bye Birdie. 

Katelyn’s training includes nine years of tap and vocal lessons, seven years of jazz, and four years of acting classes. She has also participated in workshops and masterclasses with EDMT, Music Circus, and at Lenaea Theatre Festival. Katelyn is a senior at Oak Ridge High School. When not performing, she loves all things astrology (she’s a Taurus), painting, playing the ukulele, drinking iced coffee, and spending time with her friends, family, and pets!

Lanna Moore

This is Lanna’s first year as a member of High Voltage and she couldn’t be more thrilled to be performing with such a talented group of performers! Lanna has been performing with EDMT since she was six years old and has been in 25 productions. Some of her favorite roles include Grandma Georgina/Willy Wonka, Major Suesei/Spy Quest, An Agent 006-1/2 Musical Comedy, and Bird Girl/Seussical The Musical.

Over the past 10 years, Lanna has trained in jazz, tap, voice, acting, and ballet. In addition, she has also been part of EDMT’s Tap Company for three years and will be going into her second year as an EDMT Tap Company Assistant. Lanna is a junior in high school and is taking classes at Folsom Lake College. She has dreams of making Law and Musical Theatre part of her career. Aside from performing on stage and being on Tech Crew backstage, Lanna enjoys dancing in her living room, Disneyland, traveling, her dog & 2 cats, coding, working out, spending time with her friends, and all things music.

Andrew Neal

This is Andrew’s second year as a member of High Voltage. He is so excited to be a part of such a wonderful group of performers and friends. He has been performing with EDMT for eight years and has been a part of sixteen shows. His favorite roles include, Mike Teavee/Willy Wonka and March Hare/Disney’s Alice in Wonderland JR.

Andrew’s training includes six years of tap, four years of jazz, acting, improv and vocal lessons. He has participated in dance workshops with Disney Performing Arts and Fluid Dance Competition.  He was also a member of EDMT’s Tap Company, SpecTAPular for two years and FanTAPulous for two years prior. Andrew also had the opportunity to be an extra in the movie, Papa, the Ernest Hemingway Story. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys drawing, listening to music (he loves the 80’s) playing ukulele and photography.

Cameron Renstrom

Cameron is a second year member of High Voltage. He has been performing with EDMT for the past five years, and has enjoyed every minute of it. Some of his favorite roles include Flounder/Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Lefou/Disney’s Beauty and The Beast, Smee/Peter Pan, and Bruce/Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical.

Over the past five years, Cameron has been trained in tap, jazz, and vocals. He also has taught himself piano, guitar, and the ukulele which have progressed with time. Cameron also really loves school, and wishes to go back soon. When not at EDMT, Cameron loves to watch movies, bake, play music, and hang out with his friends.

Ty Rhoades

This is Ty’s fourth year performing with High Voltage and he is thrilled to share another year with such a talented group. He has been performing with EDMT for eight years and has been in over 25 productions. Some of his favorite roles include Tony/West Side Story, Prince Eric/Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Horton the Elephant/Seussical the Musical, Captain Hook/Peter Pan and Conrad Birdie/Bye Bye Birdie. 

Ty’s training includes seven years of tap, seven years of jazz, six years of vocal lessons, two years of ballet and numerous acting classes. He was also selected as Assistant Vocal Director for EDMT’s training show, The Greatest Race. Ty was part of EDMT’s Tap Company for four years and has participated in master class workshops with Disney Performing Arts and Broadway Sacramento. 

Ty is a junior at Oak Ridge High School. In his free time, Ty enjoys singing with the worship band at his church, playing guitar, writing music, snow skiing and hanging out with his friends and family.

Ariella Sanchez

This is Ariella’s first year as a high voltage member and she is so excited!! She is fairly new to EDMT but has had music in her heart since she was born.

Ariella’s training includes three years of jazz, one year of ballet, and four years of singing lessons. When she is not performing, Ariella enjoys leading worship at her church, walking with her dog, and listening to music. She dreams that someday she will impact others with her music and keep persevering.

Ashley Slavin

This is Ashley’s third year as a member of High voltage, and she is so excited to perform alongside such talented people. Ashley has been performing with EDMT for nine years, and has been in 18 shows. Some of her favorite roles include Queen of Hearts/Disney’s Alice in Wonderland JR, Mrs. MacAfee/Bye Bye Birdie, Mrs. Teavee/Willy Wonka, Silly Girl/Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Mersister/Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Bird Girl/Seussical The Musical, and Mrs. Phelps/Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical. 

Ashley’s training includes six years of jazz, five years of tap, four years of acting, and five years of vocals. She participated in EDMT’s master classes, and has also taken audition workshops at Disneyland.  Ashley is a senior at Ponderosa High School and she plans on pursuing a career as a doctor.  When not performing, Ashley enjoys spending time with friends, traveling, and working out. She also loves Disneyland, Christmas, French fries (specifically from Red Robin), and being with her sisters.

Izzy Weaver

This is Izzy’s fourth year as a High Voltage member and she is ecstatic for another year with her favorite people! Izzy has been performing since she was five years old, with 16 shows being at EDMT— which she considers her second home. Some of her favorite roles through the years include Ariel/Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Miss Honey/Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical, Wendy Darling/Peter Pan, Mae Peterson/Bye Bye Birdie, Babette/Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Patrice/13: The Musical, and Gertrude McFuzz/Seussical The Musical.

Izzy’s training includes seven years of tap and jazz, as well as almost six years of vocal lessons. She also took part in the Disney Performing Arts Conservatory Program in 2019, where she was able to perform at the Fantasyland Theatre and make connections with those working for the company and parks. Known for her love of Disneyland and its magic, she dreams of working at the beloved theme park some day and eventually progressing to Broadway! When not on stage, you can find Izzy drawing, reading, or bingeing the TV show Glee for the hundredth time. She loves to express creativity in whichever way possible. Her main goal in life is to spread joy through the art of performing, and make the world a better place.

Zach Wilson

This is Zach’s twelfth year as a member of High Voltage. During his 16 years with EDMT, he has performed in 51 EDMT shows. Some of his favorite roles include Miss Trunchbull/Roald Dahl’’s Matilda The Musical, Riff/West Side Story, Beast/Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Bert/Mary Poppins, Shrek/Shrek The Musical, Ebenezer Scrooge/A Christmas Carol, and Mal/The Addams Family.

Over the past eleven years he has trained in jazz dance, tap, acting, tumbling, ballet, and voice. He has been taking on more roles to refine his expertise through assistant directing, through various workshops, and as an instructor with the Performing Arts Institute.

Zach not only performs onstage, but works offstage too. He has been EDMT’s projection designer/programmer for the past eight years, and has taken on set design as well. Zach has worked on many sides of shows such as Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, Shrek The Musical, and High Voltage cabarets. He has a passion for both the onstage and the technical art forms, and plans to keep doing it all!
