Our Season 13 Company
Joey is thrilled to be back performing with High Voltage. He has been performing with EDMT for 10 years and has been in 22 shows. His favorite roles include Cat in the Hat/Seussical The Musical, Mr. Wormwood/Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical, Squidward Q. Tentacles/The SpongeBob Musical, Scuttle/Disney’s The Little Mermaid, and A-Rab/West Side Story.
His training includes jazz, ballet, tap, voice, and improv. He also directed this year’s training show, The Adventures of Captain Hyper. He loves playing the guitar and piano in his free time. Joey is a big fan of astronomy, Marvel, Arrested Development, and The Lord of the Rings. He loves going on spontaneous adventures with his friends. He also has an irrational fear of the Olsen twins.

Brayden is a fourth year member of High Voltage. He has been with EDMT since he was eight years old, and has been in 18 EDMT productions. Brayden is so excited to continue to grow as a performer with this incredible group. Some of his favorite roles include Patrick/The SpongeBob Musical, Mr. Wormwood/Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical, Horton/Seussical the Musical, Action/West Side Story and Daddy Warbucks/Annie.
Brayden’s training includes 12 years of vocal lessons, seven years of jazz, and six years of tap. He always likes to think ahead and wants to attend Columbia University in New York with a double major in Musical Theater and Law. He has found so many amazing friends at EDMT and wants to continue his growth and get to know new people in High Voltage. He likes to work hard in everything he does, especially in school, and always works towards A’s in every class. When Brayden isn’t dancing, acting or singing his heart out on stage (or anywhere else), you can find him hanging out with his friends, playing with his dog Jet, or jamming out to a bunch of different Broadway show tunes.

This is Carson’s fourth year as a High Voltage member, and he is so happy to be a part of this amazing group. He has been with EDMT for 12 years. Some past roles include Mad Hatter/Disney’s Alice In Wonderland JR, Gee-Tar/West Side Story and Nana and Cecco/Peter Pan.
When he is not on stage, he is dancing non-stop, working, or hanging out with friends. Carson’s training includes about five years of tap and acting, three years of ballet, and four years of vocal instruction.

This is Jack’s very first year as a High Voltage member. He is very excited to be a part of this fantastic group! He has been with EDMT for one year and loves being on the stage! Some past roles he has played are Larry The Lobster/The SpongeBob Musical, Chad/All Shook Up, and Shan Yu/Disney’s Mulan Jr.
His training includes one year of jazz, two years of vocal training, and one year of acting, most of which has been with EDMT. In Jack’s free time, he loves to sing, watch movies, and play video games. His biggest dream is to be on Broadway in New York City!

Nathan is going on to his second year as a member of EDMT’s tour group, High Voltage! He is so excited to continue this fun experience! He has performed in 17 shows with EDMT and hopes to do many more. Some of his favorite roles include Old Man Jenkins/The SpongeBob Musical, John Darling/Peter Pan, Wickersham/Seussical The Musical, Drake/Annie, Chill/Spy Quest, and James/Willy Wonka.
Nathan participated in EDMT’s Tap Company for three years. He has done two years of jazz, two years of ballet, about five years of tap, many vocal lessons, and five years of acting classes. In his free time, Nathan enjoys hanging out with friends, watching movies, and singing. Nathan’s dream is to become a Broadway actor in NYC!

This is Mackenzie’s second year as a member of High Voltage and she is beyond grateful to be a part of such a talented group! She is going into her ninth year as a part of EDMT and has been in 19 productions. Some of her favorite past roles include Winifred/Disney’s The Jungle Book Kids, Bath Wash Woman/Disney’s Mulan Jr., Lead Indian/Peter Pan, Leticia/West Side Story, and Bird Girl/Seussical The Musical, and Security Guard/The SpongeBob Musical. She was honored to receive the Gypsy Robe during the filmed production of The SpongeBob Musical as well. Mackenzie has been training in dance, vocal, tap, and acting over the past 8 years. She enjoys choreographing and harmonizing at home in her free time. Mackenzie is also going into her fourth year as a member of EDMT’s Tap Company SpecTAPular and has performed in New York City with tap company and Dance the Magic. She hopes to get the opportunity to perform in NYC again next summer.
When not on stage, Mackenzie enjoys being with her family, working with kids at camp, assisting with EDMT summer camp, playing with her two dogs, and creating memories with her friends. She also loves baking, reading, Disney, Christmas, the rain, and ice cream. As a senior in high school at Ponderosa, Mackenzie hopes to continue to excel in academics with her AP classes, and move on to college, hopefully pursuing theater in some way. Mackenzie’s goal throughout each day is to bring joy to everyone she meets and to be a light in the world as she cares for those around her!

Emily is thrilled to be a fifth year member of High Voltage. She is grateful for the opportunity to share the stage with such amazing performers. This is her 11th season with EDMT and has performed in 26 shows. Favorite roles include Sandy/The SpongeBob Musical, Mayzie LaBird/Seussical The Musical, Peter Pan/Peter Pan, Kim MacAfee/Bye Bye Birdie, Violet Beauregarde/Willy Wonka, Young Fiona/Shrek The Musical, White Rabbit/Disney’s Alice in Wonderland JR, and Gracie Shinn/The Music Man. She was awarded the Gypsy Robe for Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical in 2020.
Emily was honored to be chosen as the Assistant Choreographer for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast in 2017, The Frog Princess in 2018, Goldie Rocks! And the 3 Bears in 2019, Annie in 2019, and Choreographer for The Greatest Race in 2020, and The Adventures of Captain Hyper in 2021. This is her third year as EDMT’s Tap Company Assistant. Emily taught vocals for EDMT summer camps in June-July, 2020, and June 2021. This is her second year as a Performing Arts Institute instructor for musical theater and jazz classes at EDMT, as well as being the High Voltage Dance Captain.
To enhance her skills during the “shutdown,” Emily began training with The Broadway Collective in January 2021. Her dance training has consisted of 11 years of jazz, six years of hip hop, nine years of tap, five years of ballet, and two years of contemporary. She competed in hip hop and jazz for three years with Fusion Dance Company, and was a member of EDMT’s Tap Company for three years. She has also taken several master classes at Broadway Sacramento and Disney Performing Arts, as well as nine years of vocal and acting lessons, and four years of piano. Emily played soccer for seven years, took six years of gymnastic classes, and has a black belt in Taekwondo.
Away from EDMT, she enjoys learning about all animals, painting, and spending time with her friends and family. Emily also enjoys traveling, and has been to more than 20 countries, with dreams of going to Australia and Africa. As a senior at Folsom High School, Emily has begun the process of applying to BFA programs in musical theater. Emily sees performing and helping animals in her future.

This is Maddie’s first year as a member of High Voltage, and she is thrilled to be performing with such a wonderful group. She has been with EDMT for 8 years and has performed in 19 shows. Her past roles include Lead Sardine/The SpongeBob Musical, Mum/Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical, Bird Girl/Seussical The Musical, Valentina/West Side Story, Andrina/Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Lead Indian/Peter Pan, Happy Face Dancer/Bye Bye Birdie, Beggar Woman/Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Ms. Teavee/Willy Wonka, Jessie/Shrek The Musical, Mathilda/Disney’s Alice In Wonderland, Cheerleader/Disney’s High School Musical, and Biffo/Disney’s The Jungle Book.
Maddie has been dancing since she was 3 years old, and has trained in tap, jazz, and ballet. She has also assisted in teaching jazz and tap classes at EDMT. In her 8 years with EDMT, she has also trained in voice and acting. She participated in EDMT’s master class week, dance workshops at Disneyland, and many master classes with Music Circus. She loves musical theatre and performing, but her true passion lies in dance. She aspires to own her own studio and continue with her dance training for as long as she can.

This is Mikey’s first year as a High Voltage member! He is so grateful for this opportunity to perform with such an incredible group of people. This is his 8th year with EDMT and his favorite past roles include John Darling/Peter Pan, Mike Teavee/Willy Wonka, Flounder/Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Doody/Grease, Eric/Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical, and Bert Healy/Annie.
In the past 8 years that Mikey has been with EDMT, his training includes jazz, tap, vocals and acting. In his spare time, he enjoys playing guitar, going on Zona runs with his friends and singing with his church. He wants to attend William Jessup University and pursue a career in music or business.

Adam is so excited to be a part of High Voltage Season 13. He is a second year member and has been with El Dorado Musical Theatre for a little over 3 years. He has taken classes in acting, singing, jazz, tap, and has been in 7 shows. Past roles include Michael Darling/Peter Pan, JoJo/Seussical The Musical, and Nigel/Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical. In his free time, he enjoys baking macarons and other French pastries.

This is Madeline’s third year as a member of High Voltage, and she is so excited to perform with this talented group of people! Madeline has been performing with EDMT for ten seasons, and has been in 22 EDMT productions. Some of her past roles include Karen the Computer/The SpongeBob Musical, Mrs. Wormwood/Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical, Bird Girl/Seussical the Musical, Miss Hannigan/Annie, Anybodys/West Side Story, Arista/Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Ursula Merkle/Bye Bye Birdie, Jeel/SpyQuest: An Agent 006-½ Musical Comedy, and Violet Beauregarde/Willy Wonka.
Madeline’s training includes ten years of jazz, nine years of tap, eight years of acting, and seven years of vocal instruction. She was the Assistant Director for The Adventures of Captain Hyper in 2021 as well as an assistant for EDMT’s summer camps in 2020 and 2021 and is thrilled to be teaching the Mini Me PAI class this season. She was also a member of EDMT’s Tap Company for three years. She has taken multiple masterclasses with Sacramento Theater Company as well as workshops in tap, auditioning, and musical theater with Disney Performing Arts. Besides theater, Madeline’s passions include reading, academics, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

This is Hailey’s second year as a member of High Voltage. She is thrilled to be performing with such a talented group of people! Hailey has been performing with EDMT for nine years and has been in 17 productions. Some of her favorite past shows/roles include Mrs.Bucket/Willy Wonka, Daisy/Disney’s Alice in Wonderland, Bird Girl/Seussical The Musical, and a Shark/West Side Story.
Over the past nine years, Hailey has trained in jazz, ballet, tap, acting, and voice. She has also participated in many different workshops while attending the High School Theatre Festival, Lenaea. When not performing, Hailey enjoys rainy days, spending time with her friends, dancing whenever she can, playing the ukulele, and hanging out with her dog, Benny. She hopes to one day live and work in New York, whether that means performing on stage or working behind the scenes!

This is Katelyn’s second year in High Voltage and she could not be more excited to be performing with such a talented group! She has performed with EDMT for 10 years and has been in 24 productions. Some of her favorite roles include Marty/Grease, Allana/Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Cecile/West Side Story, and Margie/Bye Bye Birdie.
Katelyn’s training includes 10 years of tap and vocal lessons, seven years of jazz, and five years of acting classes. She has also participated in workshops and masterclasses with EDMT, Music Circus, and at Lenaea Theatre Festival. Katelyn is a freshman at Folsom Lake College. When not performing, she loves all things astrology (she’s a Taurus), playing the ukulele, drinking iced coffee, and spending time with her friends, family, and pets!

This is Lanna’s second year as a member of High Voltage and she couldn’t be more thrilled to be performing with such a talented group of performers! Lanna has been performing with EDMT since she was six years old and has been in 26 productions. Some of her favorite roles include Grandma Georgina/Willy Wonka, Major Suesei/Spy Quest, An Agent 006-1/2 Musical Comedy, and Bird Girl/Seussical The Musical.
Over the past 11 years, Lanna has trained in jazz, tap, voice, acting, and ballet. In addition, she has also been part of EDMT’s Tap Company for three years and will be going into her third year as an EDMT Tap Company Assistant. Lanna is a freshman at Folsom Lake College. She has dreams of making Law and Musical Theatre part of her career. Aside from performing on stage and being on Tech Crew backstage, Lanna enjoys dancing in her living room, Disneyland, traveling, her dog & 2 cats, coding, working out, spending time with her friends, and all things music.

This is Andrew’s third year as a member of High Voltage. He is so excited to be a part of such a wonderful group of performers and friends. He has been performing with EDMT for nine years and has been a part of sixteen shows. His favorite roles include, Mike Teavee/Willy Wonka and March Hare/Disney’s Alice in Wonderland JR.
Andrew’s training includes six years of tap, four years of jazz, acting, improv and vocal lessons. He has participated in dance workshops with Disney Performing Arts and Fluid Dance Competition. He was also a member of EDMT’s Tap Company, SpecTAPular for two years and FanTAPulous for two years prior. Andrew also had the opportunity to be an extra in the movie, Papa, the Ernest Hemingway Story. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys drawing, listening to music (he loves the 80’s) playing ukulele and photography.

Cameron is a third year member of High Voltage. He has been performing with EDMT for the past six years, and has enjoyed every minute of it. Some of his favorite roles include SpongeBob/The SpongeBob Musical, Flounder/Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Lefou/Disney’s Beauty and The Beast, Smee/Peter Pan, and Bruce/Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical.
Over the past six years, Cameron has been trained in tap, jazz, and vocals. He also has taught himself piano, guitar, and the ukulele which have progressed with time. Cameron also really loves school, and is excited to go back this year. When not at EDMT, Cameron loves to watch movies, watch Bo Burnham and John Mulaney, play music, and hang out with his friends.

This is Ty’s fifth year performing with High Voltage and he is excited to share another year with such a talented group. He has been performing with EDMT for nine years and has been in over 26 productions. Some of his favorite roles include Tony/West Side Story, Prince Eric/Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Horton the Elephant/Seussical the Musical, Captain Hook/Peter Pan and Conrad Birdie/Bye Bye Birdie.
Ty’s training includes eight years of tap, eight years of jazz, seven years of vocal lessons, three years of ballet and numerous acting classes. He was also Vocal Director for EDMT’s training show, The Adventures of Captain Hyper. Ty was part of EDMT’s Tap Company for four years and has participated in master class workshops with Disney Performing Arts and Broadway Sacramento.
Ty is a senior at Oak Ridge High School, with plans to pursue music in college. He is actively involved with his church, where he enjoys singing with the worship band, writing music and leading worship with the youth ministry. In Ty’s free time, he also enjoys playing guitar, watching sports, snow skiing and hanging out with his friends and family.

This is Julia’s first year as a member of High Voltage and she could not be more thrilled to be a part of such a talented, high energy cast of performers. She has been with EDMT for the past four years and has been a part of eight productions. Some of her past roles include Lily St. Regis/Annie, Twin 1/Peter Pan, and an Older Featured Dancer/Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical.
Julia’s training includes four years of jazz, three years of tap, two years of ballet, and four years of vocal lessons, though she has been singing for as long as she can remember. She hopes to pursue a career in the medical or scientific field, but knows that music, theater, and performing will always be a part of her life. When she is not in rehearsal, Julia loves writing (she hopes to be a published author one day), reading, art and spending time with family and friends.

This is Ariella’s second year as a High Voltage member and she is so excited to be performing with such an amazing group again! She has been performing with EDMT for three years and has enjoyed all of it! Some of her favorite roles include Star To Be/Annie and Pearl/The SpongeBob Musical.
Ariella’s training includes four years of jazz, two years of ballet, and four years of singing lessons.
Ariella is a junior at Vista Del Lago High School. When she is not performing, Ariella enjoys leading worship at her church, hanging out with friends, and writing and recording her own music. She hopes to spread joy and love in the world through music someday.

This is Ashley’s fourth year as a member of High Voltage, and she is so excited to perform alongside such talented people. Ashley has been performing with EDMT for 10 years, and has been in 19 shows. Some of her favorite roles include Queen of Hearts/Disney’s Alice in Wonderland JR, Mrs. MacAfee/Bye Bye Birdie, Mrs. Teavee/Willy Wonka, Silly Girl/Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Mersister/Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Bird Girl/Seussical The Musical, and Mrs. Phelps/Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical.
Ashley’s training includes seven years of jazz, five years of tap, five years of acting, and six years of vocals. She participated in EDMT’s master classes, and has also taken audition workshops at Disneyland. Ashley is a freshman at Folsom Lake College. She is majoring in Biology and plans on pursuing a career as a doctor. When not performing, Ashley enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and working out. She also loves Disneyland, Christmas, French fries (specifically from Red Robin), and being with her sisters.

This is Tori’s first year as a High Voltage member, and she is ecstatic! It has been her dream to be a part of this talented group ever since she saw her first cabaret. Tori has been performing with EDMT for six seasons and has been in 11 shows. Her favorite roles include Matilda/Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical, Annie/Annie, Slightly/Peter Pan, and Thing 1/Seussical the Musical.
Tori’s training includes five years of jazz, five years of tap, six years of acting, two years of ballet, and three years of vocal lessons. She is also starting her 2nd year of EDMT’s Tap Company. Tori has also had two years of piano lessons. Aside from performing, she is part of the National Charity League, fosters kittens from the SPCA, and is working towards being fluent in Spanish.

This is Zach’s thirteenth year as a member of High Voltage. During his 17 years with EDMT, he has performed in 52 EDMT shows. Some of his favorite roles include Sheldon Plankton/The SpongeBob Musical, Miss Trunchbull/Roald Dahl’’s Matilda The Musical, Riff/West Side Story, Beast/Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Bert/Mary Poppins, Shrek/Shrek The Musical, Ebenezer Scrooge/A Christmas Carol, and Mal/The Addams Family.
Over the past twelve years he has trained in jazz dance, tap, acting, tumbling, ballet, and voice. He has been taking on more roles to refine his expertise through assistant directing, through various workshops, and as an instructor with the Performing Arts Institute.
Zach not only performs onstage, but works offstage too. He has been EDMT’s projection designer/programmer for the past ten years, and has taken on set design as well. Zach has worked on many sides of shows such as The SpongeBob Musical, Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, Shrek The Musical, and High Voltage cabarets. He has a passion for both the onstage and the technical art forms, and plans to keep doing it all!
