High Voltage, the premier performing group of El Dorado Musical Theatre!

High Voltage is El Dorado Musical Theatre’s group of high-energy performers who entertain a wide range of audiences.  They are EDMT’s “Performance Ambassadors” who perform not only in the theater, but who take entertainment into the community.

Their live performances are a showcase of favorite songs from classic to contemporary Broadway shows.  It’s great entertainment for your entire family.

The High Voltage company consists of 19 performers who are some of the top talent from EDMT.  Each member is well trained in their craft, and when they perform together, the result is magical.

An audition-only group, High Voltage performs together for an entire year.  The group size varies from season to season, but is generally about 18-24 performers ages 13-22.

The creative team for High Voltage includes Director/Choreographer, Debbie Wilson, Vocal Director, Jennifer Wittmayer and Choreographer, Theresa Swain.

The group has performed at venues ranging from Disneyland to the California State Capital Building to the Carnival Splendor cruise ship to Shriners Hospitals for Children.  In addition, they also perform three shows each year at Harris Center for the Arts at Folsom Lake College, including a hugely popular “Holiday Celebration” show in December.

If you are interested in becoming a High Voltage member, please look for audition information on this website.  Auditions are held in mid-June each year.
