Alex Armstrong

This is Alex’s second year as a member of High Voltage, and she is excited and grateful to be a part of such an amazing group of performers. Alex began performing with EDMT in 2019 in her first show, Goldie Rocks! and the 3 Bears. Since then, she has performed in 17 shows and is excited to do many more. Alex’s favorite shows include Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical, Disney’s Newsies, and Seussical The Musical. In addition to performing, Alex loves working backstage as a prop assistant to support her fellow performers, and she also enjoys working with younger performers.

Alex’s training includes seven years of jazz, tap, and acting; three years of vocal lessons, and one year of ballet. Alex enjoyed four years as a member of EDMT’s Tap Company. She has also enjoyed performing with Disney’s Dance the Magic in Disneyland and training with her High Voltage friends in NYC.

In her free time, Alex enjoys hanging out with her friends, watching movies, being outside in nature, and watching sunsets. Alex is proud to be a part of the EDMT community, not only to continue growing as a performer, but to have the opportunity to work with some truly inspirational people and develop amazing friendships. Alex looks forward to creating many more memories through her EDMT journey.

Luke Armstrong

This is Luke’s first year as a member of High Voltage, and he is so honored to be on stage with such talented performers. Luke’s first role with EDMT was at the age of 10 as a wolf in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Since then he has performed in nine EDMT shows and can’t wait to do more. Some of his favorite shows include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Wizard of Oz, The Addams Family, and Seussical The Musical.

Luke’s training includes three years of jazz, three years of tap, and three years of vocal lessons. He has also participated in workshop classes with EDMT in jazz and tap and has performed with EDMT’s Tap Company.

When Luke is not performing on stage he enjoys working backstage as a prop assistant and a follow spot operator. With the rest of his free time he enjoys rowing and hanging out with his friends.

Lucas Blanco

This is Lucas’ first year as a member of EDMT’s High Voltage, and he is so excited to be part of such an inspiring group of people! He has been performing with EDMT since 2022, and has since then done nine EDMT productions including six local shows. Some of his favorite roles include Willy Wonka (Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka), Wickersham Brother (Seussical The Musical), Hans (Disney’s Frozen JR), Jafar (Disney’s Descendants), Ebeneezer at 12 (A Christmas Carol), and Mad Hatter (Disney’s Alice In Wonderland).

Lucas’ training includes two years of jazz, three years of vocal training, two years of acting, two years of tap, and multiple masterclasses. In his free time, Lucas likes hanging out with his friends, playing video games with them, and listening to music. Lucas is attending Folsom High School, and though he’s good at what he does, he’s still learning every day from those around him. Lucas would like to thank his friends, family, and mentors.

Makena Crawford

This is Makena’s first year as a member in EDMT’s High Voltage! She is thrilled to be a part of this group and surrounded by such amazing talent. Makena recently made her EDMT debut, being cast as Vivienne (Legally Blonde). Other past roles include Hilda Klineman (Rock Of Ages) and Caroline Krafft (Mean Girls).

Makena’s training includes acting classes at EDMT, as well as acting classes elsewhere for six years. She also has three years of vocal training. Outside of performing, Makena loves hanging out with her friends, who are always supporting her, being with her family, and traveling. Makena’s so grateful for this opportunity and is extremely excited for the year ahead!

Livia Darby

Livia is so excited to be a part of High Voltage's 17th season! She is a first year member and is proud to be performing with such talented peers. Livia has been at EDMT since her first show in 2017, Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka, and has since participated in 12 amazing productions. Her favorite roles and shows are Ancestor (The Addams Family), Flotsam (Disney’s The Little Mermaid), Delta Nu (Legally Blonde), Kikko (The Wizard of Oz), and Cheerleader (Disney’s High School Musical).

Collectively Livia has 10 years of dance training in a variety of styles such as jazz, tap, ballet, and contemporary. She has enjoyed developing her acting and singing skills through shows and workshops. She has also had many backstage opportunities at EDMT and her school’s theatre program including assistant choreographer, makeup designer, stage crew, follow spot operator, and costume assistant.

Livia is currently a senior in high school and coaches gymnastics and dance. She previously competed in gymnastics and dance for many years and loves to perform. In her free time she enjoys reading, baking, listening to music, and hanging out with her friends and amazing family.

Oliva De Rose

This is Olivia’s third year as a member of High Voltage, and she is beyond grateful to be part of such a talented group! She has performed with EDMT for eight years and has participated in 16 shows. Some of her favorites include Cinderella, The Music Man, Disney’s Newsies, A Christmas Carol, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Not only does Olivia enjoy performing onstage, but also loves participating in the technical side of theatre. She has worked many shows backstage as a prop assistant, a quick changer, and a follow spot operator.

Olivia’s training includes six years of jazz, eight years of tap, and two years of acting. In her free time you can find her hanging out with her friends, watching movies, shows, and listening to music. She has met many amazing friends at EDMT that are now like family, and is thankful for all the opportunities and experiences EDMT has provided for her. She hopes to continue to grow and pursue this passion throughout her life!

Carson Diffley

This is Carson’s third year as a member of EDMT’s High Voltage. He is super excited to start another year with this amazing and talented group. He has been in seven shows at EDMT and enjoyed performing as a Wolf/Ensemble (Disney’s Beauty and the Beast), Ben (Disney’s Descendants), Ensemble (The Wizard of Oz), Zeke/Ripper (Disney’s High School Musical), Featured Ancestor (The Addams Family), Wickersham Brother/The Grinch (Seussical The Musical), and especially Sebastian (Disney’s The Little Mermaid).

Carson was a competitive dancer in tap, jazz, contemporary, ballet, and hip hop for eight years at Leighton Dance project. He has also done various shows at Sutter Street Theater, and takes voice lessons with Scott Rivers, who works here at EDMT.

In his free time, he likes to hang out with his friends and family, eat lots of food, and listen to music. His favorite artists are Billie Eilish, Mumford and Sons, and Coldplay! Carson also attends Folsom High school where he is a junior and does Jazz choir! Carson would like to thank his friends and family for all of their amazing support.

Ryan Freitas

Ryan is so thrilled to be a third-year member in EDMT’s High Voltage! He has been performing with EDMT since he was nine years old and has been in 14 shows at EDMT. Past roles include Scuttle (Disney’s The Little Mermaid), Giuseppe Addams (The Addams Family), Alan (Disney’s High School Musical), Crow (The Wizard of Oz), Jay (Disney’s Descendants), Charles Cratchit (A Christmas Carol), Bishop (Disney’s Frozen JR), Abe (Disney’s Newsies), and Featured Dancer (Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical).

Ryan’s training includes six years of jazz and five years of tap. He was also in EDMT’s Tap Company for three years, and has performed with the group at Imagination Campus in Disneyland. Ryan has also been a Cast Leader in multiple training shows including The Great Cookie War, The Frog Princess, and Goldie Rocks! and the 3 Bears. He was also a counselor and instructor at EDMT’s summer theatre camp for the past years. In his free time, Ryan loves to hang out with friends.

Jason Harmon

This is Jason’s second year as a member of High Voltage, and he is thrilled to be a part of this incredibly talented group! He has been performing with EDMT since 2017, and his favorite shows have been Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical, Disney’s High School Musical, and The Addams Family. Jason also volunteers working backstage with the lighting crew.

Jason has been training for the performing arts since he was five years old. He plays alto saxophone and studies gymnastics, jazz, and tap dance. He was a member of EDMT’s Tap Company for seven years; and fun fact, his favorite Broadway show is 42nd Street. He enjoys hanging out and grabbing Dutch Bros with friends.

Cameron Johnson

Cameron Johnson is a first-year member of High Voltage and absolutely adores everything about theatre! He loves performing, the community, and making new friends at EDMT! Cameron is so grateful to be sharing a stage with so many like minded individuals that want to be here to learn and grow their artistry. You may have caught Cameron in EDMT’s production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid where he played Sebastian. Cameron also was heavily involved in his high school theatre program.

Recently graduating from West Park High School in Roseville, his school’s program and director, Kat DeLapp, boosted Cameron’s passion for theatre. His West Park productions include, Lacienega (Bring It On), Rapunzel’s Prince (Into The Woods), Hot Blades Harry (Urinetown), Gaston (Disney’s Beauty and the Beast), and Mitch Mahoney (25th Annual County Spelling Bee). Cameron loves community theatre and started at Rocklin Community Theatre, in 2024. You may have seen him as Damian in Mean Girls and Emmett in Legally Blonde.

Cameron is so ready to perform at EDMT again, and he hopes you enjoy High Voltage. He would like to thank his family, friends and Kat DeLapp for their unwavering support.

Paul Madsen

Paul loves to make people laugh. Here’s one of his favorite jokes: “When I told people I wanted to become a comedian, everyone laughed. Today, I am a comedian, and nobody is laughing now!” Paul’s favorite roles have always been about making an audience smile; LeFou (Disney’s Beauty and the Beast), Lord Farquaad (Shrek The Musical), Marlin (Disney’s Finding Nemo JR), and Sven (Disney’s Frozen JR).

Being surrounded by the amazing talent in High Voltage is the greatest honor Paul could imagine. It’s an incredible community with endless opportunities and invaluable friendships. Paul is excited to share the joy of EDMT with audiences throughout the 2025-26 season.

When Paul isn’t performing musical theater, he loves doing improv and sketch comedy. He is obsessed with reading, and can easily finish a book in a day. He runs cross country and enjoys backpacking, wake surfing, skim boarding, and rock climbing with his family.

Ethan Peterson

Ethan is extremely excited for his first year with High Voltage. When his family relocated to Folsom in late summer of 2024, Ethan dove right into all that EDMT offers by taking classes in jazz, ballet, and acting, along with performing in his first EDMT production as Lowell and Nikos in Legally Blonde. He is eager to take this next step in his performing journey.

Before relocating to Folsom, Ethan had performed in many shows with his previous company, including: Grease, Mean Girls, Guys and Dolls, Into the Woods, James and the Giant Peach, and many more!

In Ethan’s free time, he enjoys staying busy by helping out with shows—including painting sets, stage crew, operating the spotlight, or assisting with the light board. Ethan also has a passion for listening to and studying music.

Elliana Ray

This is Elliana’s first year as a member of High Voltage. She is grateful to be part of this amazing group and excited about the experiences to come! Elliana has been active with EDMT since the age of five, when she did training shows, then again as a teen. She has been fortunate to participate in 10 amazing EDMT productions. Her favorite roles include The EvilQueen (Disney’s Descendants), flying in Disney’s The Little Mermaid, and dancing in The Addams Family. When she isn’t performing, she enjoys working backstage as part of the wig team and painting props prior to shows.

Elliana’s training includes seven years of ballet, nine years of jazz, eleven years of tap as well as vocal lessons. She was on EDMT Tap Company for the past four years with Disneyland Performances as a highlight. Her dance background includes six years as a competitive dancer at a local dance studio. Elliana is now the Tap Company Director’s Assistant.

Elliana takes great pride as an instructor at EDMT, teaching Mini Me and Musical Theatre Dance classes to the next generations of EDMT kids. Her joy of working with children has come from all the love, support, and attention she received from the teens when she was a young performer. She sees teaching as a chance to give that back and loves “her littles.” Dance and theatre has always provided Elliana an extended family and amazing friendships. She looks forward to creating many more memories along her musical theatre journey.

Abby Rice

This is Abby’s third year of High Voltage, and she could not be more proud to be a part of such an amazing group! She has been performing with EDMT since she was 10 years old and is going into her ninth season at EDMT. Some of her past roles include Mrs. Squires (The Music Man), Dan’s Wife (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), Sophie K. (Mean Girls), Cheer Captain (Disney’s High School Musical), and Aquata (Disney’s The Little Mermaid). While she loves being on stage, she also has a love for the technical side of theatre, including backstage help and follow spot lead.

Abby’s training includes nine years of jazz, ten years of tap, and three years of ballet, as well as taking many master classes with EDMT and Disney. Abby was a part of EDMT’s Tap Company for four years, then she took on the role of the assistant for another year. She also has experience on the artistic team as an Assistant Choreographer for Rock of Ages Teen Edition, Mean Girls High School Version, and Mamma Mia! at Oak Ridge High School.

In her free time, she loves listening to music, being outside, and shopping. Her favorite things are Trader Joe’s and Relish’s Tuesday Night Trivia.

Jacob Rummel

Jacob is thrilled to be a part of High Voltage this year! It’s his third year with the group, and he’s excited about the amazing experiences ahead. Jacob has been with EDMT for six years, taking part in nine shows. Some of his favorite roles include The Wizard (The Wizard of Oz), Chef Louis (Disney’s The Little Mermaid), and Lurch (The Addams Family). Jacob’s training includes four years of jazz, six years of acting, three years of vocal lessons, and two years of tap.

He’s met so many incredible people at EDMT, and is always eager to make new connections with fellow theater enthusiasts. When he’s not immersed in the world of acting, Jacob loves hanging out with his friends and listening to music. He would like to thank his friends and family for their constant support! His passion for theater is evident, and he’s only just getting started on this amazing journey.

Maya Shamp

This is Maya’s first year as a member of High Voltage. She is incredibly thankful to be a part of this talented group. Maya has been performing since she was a little kid, having done a total of nine shows. Her favorite shows in the past have been Donna in Mamma Mia!, Legally Blonde, and Disney’s Newsies.

Maya’s training includes years of vocal lessons, two years of jazz and acting, and four years of hip-hop. She was a part of the nationally ranked Oak Ridge High School Dance Team for the last 3 years as well.

In her free time, she loves hanging out with her friends and family, as well as listening to music and going to the gym.

Julia Slavin

This is Julia’s third year as a member of High Voltage! She is so excited to perform alongside such talented people. Julia has been performing with EDMT for eight years, and has been in 19 shows. Some of her favorite roles include Wednesday Addams (The Addams Family), Kelsi Neilson (Disney’s High School Musical), Mal (Disney’s Descendants), Anna (Disney’s Frozen JR), Amanda Thripp (Matilda The Musical), Mrs. Mayor (Seussical The Musical), Tessie (Annie), and Howie (Disney’s Newsies).

Julia’s training includes seven years of jazz, five years of tap, seven years of acting, and seven years of vocals. When not performing, Julia enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and playing with her cat, KitBoo. She also loves Disneyland, Christmas, the rain, Tahoe, and being with her sisters. She hopes to continue performing in the future and pursue it as a career!

Claire Suneson

Claire is so excited to be part of this incredibly talented company of High Voltage Season 17! She has been a part of the EDMT family since she was six years old and has been fortunate enough to participate in 19 amazing EDMT productions. Her favorite roles include Dory (Disney’s Finding Nemo JR), Gertrude (Seussical The Musical), Margot (Legally Blonde), and Jetsam (Disney’s The Little Mermaid). This is Claire’s third season as a member of High Voltage.

Claire’s training includes 11 years of ballet, six years of tap – she is also a proud member of EDMT’s Tap Company – as well as jazz dance, acting and vocal training. This fall, Claire is also serving as the Director for Goldie Rocks! and the 3 Bears, a training show production for EDMT’s littlest performers.

In her spare time, Claire loves to eat breakfast, treasure-hunt for great finds in thrift stores, and bake cookies with her friends.

Reese Throckmorton

Reese is so excited to be a third-year member in her final year with High Voltage. She has been performing for ten years and has performed in a total of 23 shows. Her past favorite roles include Elle Woods (Legally Blonde), Ariel (Disney’s The Little Mermaid), Sharpay (Disney’s High School Musical), Anna (Disney’s Frozen JR), Regina (Mean Girls), and Silly Girl (Disney’s Beauty and the Beast).

Reese’s training includes seven years of jazz, five years of tap, and five years of acting. She received the Legacy Robe for The Music Man, and was a member of EDMT’s Tap Company. Reese has worked as a teacher/counselor for EDMT summer camps, and helped on multiple training shows.

In her free time, Reese loves to travel, and spend time with her family and friends. She would like to thank her mom, dad, and brothers for being her biggest supporters.

Irie Tilson

This is Irie’s second year as a member of High Voltage, and she is so excited to be performing with such a talented and inspiring group of people! She has been singing and dancing for seven years and continues to grow her passion for the performing arts every day. Irie is also a proud fifth-year member of EDMT’s Tap Company, where she has had the opportunity to train, perform, and connect with others who share her love of dance.

When she’s not on stage, Irie enjoys spending time with her friends, exploring new music, and watching shows that inspire her as a performer. Being part of the EDMT community has brought her countless memories, friendships, and opportunities to grow both on and off stage. She is so thankful for the support and creativity that surrounds her and looks forward to what’s ahead in her performance journey!

Sasha von Sydow

This is Sasha’s second year as a High Voltage member and her fourth season with EDMT. Sasha has been singing, dancing, and acting in over thirty-five local stage productions since she was seven. In addition to musical theater, Sasha is a represented film actress and model. Sasha has been featured in music videos: Maddox Baxton’s “I Don’t Like You Anymore” and Andrea Bejar’s “Mi Nina”. She has been featured in the short films “Twice As Fast” and “Theater Kids,” as well as projects still in production. She models at Sacramento and LA Fashion Week when her schedule allows. She performed at Disneyland with TAPCO through Disney Imagination Campus. Sasha attended Broadway Up Close dance workshops with her fellow Season 16 High Voltage members, completing training with Broadway professionals from Hadestown and Moulin Rouge, as well as stage combat training with Judi Lewis Ockler.

Sasha’s training is extensive, encompassing years of training in jazz, ballet, hip-hop, tap, stage combat, vocals, voice-over, theater acting, and screen acting. She receives dance training at EDMT, Studio 65, and Sacramento Broadway workshops. She receives acting training at Studio24 and Broadway Artists Alliance. Sasha has attended a variety of programs and workshops over the years: Sacramento Broadway Dance and Musical Theater Professional Elite Summer and Winter Intensive Series, Broadway Artists Alliance, NYFA (LA) Acting For Film, and STC Centerstage Conservatory.

In her free time, Sasha enjoys playing her ukulele, drawing, being in nature, and hanging out with friends.
