Our tap companies are audition-only, season-long rehearsals (nine to ten months). Company members learn expanded choreography and have the opportunity to perform in the community at special events.

These groups are a wonderful blend of performing excitement and fun for every member.

Details:

When:  Auditions will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020

Time:  9:00 am for new members / 10:00 am for returning members

Place:  EDMT Rehearsal Facility, 5011 Golden Foothill Parkway #4, in El Dorado Hills

Modifications to our usual audition procedure may be necessary within our facility. If it is not possible to audition at EDMT, it will be done online.

How old do I need to be?:  Minimum 10 years old, maximum 20 years old.

What do I need to prepare?:  Absolutely nothing. An audition piece will be taught on the spot.

What do I need to bring?: Tap shoes, a fun energetic sparkly attitude, and at least one full year of strong tap experience.

What does it cost to audition and be a part of EDMT’s tap company?: It costs absolutely nothing to audition. Tap Company monthly cost is $76 plus the cost of your Tap Technique class.

What is the commitment for EDMT’s tap company?: August 18, 2020 to May 18, 2021 one rehearsal night per week (Tuesday’s) for up to 2 hours, must be enrolled in a PAI Tap Technique class for the year, community performances as available/scheduled and YES, we will be dancing in DISNEYLAND this season.
