El Dorado Musical Theatre accepts work and needs based scholarship applications for Performing Arts Institute classes, High Voltage, Tap Company, shows, workshops, and summer camp.
- Performing Arts Institute classes – Scholarship applications are due one week prior to each class session.
- High Voltage & Tap Company – Scholarship applications are due one week prior to auditions.
- Shows – Scholarship applications are due one week prior to registration. See show calendar for specific due dates.
- Workshops & Summer Camp – Scholarship applications are due prior to registration.

Full or Partial Monetary & Work Scholarships
EDMT may grant a full or partial monetary or work based scholarship towards tuition with the following requirements:
- Parents or eligible performers are required to complete the 20 volunteer hours. (Scholarship recipients will not be eligible for another scholarship if volunteer hours are not completed.)
- Award decisions will be made based on potential benefit to applicant, potential benefit to the show, and financial need.
- A contract will be provided for a Work Scholarship to determine how many hours are required to volunteer per month, outside of the 20 volunteer hours per show.
- Applications received after the deadline will not be considered. Recipients of scholarships will be notified by email.
